This standard serves as a certification baseline for all of our instructors.

The Diamond Standard™ is a research based accreditation standard for adult continuing education instructors.

Global Standard

This standard integrates the core concepts of global citizenship education (GCED) together with the existing CEU standards of prominent institutional bodies.

Comprehensive Training

This training covers 1) profile of postgraduate adult learners, 2) what is considered continuing education programming, 3) how to calculate CEU hours, 4) how to evaluate CEU coursework, 5) core concepts of global citizenship education, and 6) how to facilitate collective knowledge exchange with adult learners online.

Teaching Opportunities

By completing the coursework required to receive the CEU Approved Instructor Certification from this training course, learners may apply to become an instructor with The School of Global Citizenry and will have acquired the credentials needed to teach for most other CEU conferring institutions.
